In general, the chewing and swallowing function of people will gradually deteriorate with age, and it will also be affected by various diseases (such as developmental disorders, esophageal or neurological diseases, or surgery, etc.). About 30% of the population over the age of 65 have varying degrees of dysphagia. People with dysphagia find it difficult to enjoy eating and have fewer choices of food. At present, most of the people in need in Hong Kong can only choose between cooked meals and broken meals, which often affect their appetite and long-term nutritional intake due to their poor appearance and taste. In addition, there is also a lack of special diets for people with reduced chewing and swallowing function on the market. There are a small number of imported products from other places such as Japan, but they are expensive and unaffordable for ordinary people, and the taste does not meet the wishes of local elders.

As the first relevant local scientific research company in Hong Kong, we hope to bring more self-developed products to Hong Kong through our professional scientific knowledge and experience, and at the same time contribute to the development of Hong Kong’s scientific research. The research and development process of all products is carried out locally, including the production of soft meal powder for instant soft meals. Therefore, the team mainly develops coagulation powder, ingredient softening powder, food shaping powder, and ready-to-eat original soft meals tailored for people with dysphagia, providing them with more affordable and high-quality food options, helping them to eat safely and increasing their daily life. nutrient intake and maintain a nutritionally balanced diet.


The first self-developed brand related to elderly and dysphagia products in Hong Kong. The R&D team includes a Ph.D. from Cambridge University, UK, a Ph.D. from Imperial College London, UK, etc., and has applied for a number of invention patents, and has laboratories in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Shenzhen Research Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

At the same time, it is incubating projects of several incubators, including ideaSpace of Cambridge University, Enterprise Lab of Imperial College London, iDendron of Hong Kong University, PI Centre of Chinese University of Hong Kong, Incubation Program of Hong Kong Science Park, etc. It is also a Hong Kong start-up under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries.
