嚥下・咀嚼困難をお持ちの方の安全で尊厳ある食事のために、国際・国内の規格に準拠した製品を提供しています。

介護食品とは、嚥下(嚥下障害)または咀嚼困難をお持ちの方のために特別に設計された食品・飲料を指します。テクスチャー・柔らかさ・粘度を調整することで、栄養・色・香り・風味を保ちながら安全な食事を可能にします。
統一規格がなければ、介護者・医療機関・食品メーカー間で食形態の記述・調製・表示に不整合が生じます。「レベル4ピューレ食」が病院・介護施設・市販品で同一の意味を持つよう標準化することで、安全性と生活の質が向上します。
IDDSI(国際嚥下障害食標準化イニシアチブ)は、嚥下調整食・飲料を0〜7の8段階でフレームワーク化した国際規格です。SeniorDeliの全製品はIDDSIフレームワークに準拠しています。

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), in collaboration with CUHK Food Research Centre and HKU Swallowing Research Lab, developed a localised set of care food standards based on IDDSI. These apply to individual users, medical institutions, and food manufacturers.
Press a fork on food to check softness. Food should yield easily.
Tilt a spoon of pureed food. It should hold its shape, not flow freely.
Check liquid viscosity using a 10mL syringe. Flow rate determines IDDSI level.

✓Care food supports safe eating but does not replace medical treatment or speech therapy.
✗The thicker the food, the safer.
✓Over-thickening increases choking risk, reduces appetite, and can cause dehydration.
